In the light of Arab geopolitical reality, exacerbation of transboundary issues and shared water issues in the Arab region, in parallel with the continuing and infinite Israeli occupation designs in Arab waters have made this reality the biggest risk to Arab water security which requires us to address the topic of common water in different legal and technical aspects and lay down the water diplomatic basis. The sessions of this axis shall focus on the following main topics:
1. The Israeli control over the Arab water resources.
2. The transboundary and shared water between Arab countries and neighboring countries: Present and Future.
3. The role of international laws and covenants in protecting Arab water rights.
4. Water diplomacy in the Arab region: Reality and Challenges
5. Employ modern technology in monitoring and control to manage and develop transboundary and shared water resources.
6. Enhance human capacity on negotiation issues, conflict resolution, drafting of common agreements, and exchanging Arab experiences.
7. Strength the institutional and human capacities in the management of shared water resources.
