Climate change is one of the most pervasive and threatening issues of our time, and we expect unprecedented effects on the stability of water and food security. Moreover, the outbreak of Corona pandemic has increased the demand for water which poses significant challenge to adaptation to these changes which will make it costly and more difficult in the future unless more drastic actions are taken such as setting policies and strategies to manage and fight these risks and updates. The sessions of this axis shall focus on the following main topics: 

1.         Strategies and initiatives on climate change in the Arab region: Opportunities & Challenges.

2.         Administer extreme climate changes such as repeated floods and droughts in the Arab countries.

3.         Adaptation techniques with climate change in the water sector and lessons learned.

4.         Planning for interconnection between water and health.

5.         Enhance the interconnection between water, food, and energy.

6.         Develop the Arab capabilities in the field of risk management and lessons learned from the Corona Pandemic.
